How Yacht Charter Works

The yacht charter process can seem daunting at first — unfamiliar terminology, foreign companies, contracts in other languages. We've broken it down into clear steps and are ready to guide you through each one.

5 Steps from Idea to Departure

The complete process — from first enquiry to casting off

1

Define Your Requirements

Choose your destination, dates and number of guests. Decide on the format: bareboat or with a skipper, sailing yacht or catamaran. Not sure? The agent helps with this too.

2

Find Your Yacht

Use the search tool or message the agent. We'll put together options matched to your budget and preferences — no pressure, no unnecessary calls.

3

Clarify the Details

We check the charter conditions, explain what's included in the price, what you pay on arrival, and what documents you need.

4

Confirm the Booking

Sign the charter contract and pay the deposit through the secure system. Full payment is typically due 4–8 weeks before departure.

5

Set Sail

Arrive at the marina, complete the handover briefing with the base, take the yacht and go. Your agent is available throughout the trip.
