Sailing Yacht Charter

The classic way to experience the sea. A sailing yacht gives you the freedom to go where you want, feel the wind and waves, and discover places that only boats can reach.

What is a Sailing Yacht Charter?

A sailing yacht — sometimes called a monohull — is the traditional form of yacht charter. You rent the yacht for a set period, choose your route, and sail under canvas from port to port. Most charter sailing yachts are 35–50 feet long and sleep 4–8 guests in comfortable cabins with a fully-equipped galley.

Sailing yachts are more manoeuvrable than catamarans, cheaper to charter and better suited to active sailors who want to actually sail rather than simply cruise. They access smaller harbours, tighter anchorages and isolated coves that larger boats cannot reach.

Why Choose a Sailing Yacht

💨

Real Sailing

Feel the wind, trim the sails and experience the ocean the way it was meant to be experienced.

🔍

Access Anywhere

Smaller draft and narrower beam mean access to anchorages and tiny harbours that catamarans can't reach.

💰

Better Value

Sailing yachts are typically 30–50% less expensive to charter than an equivalent catamaran.

🏃

Faster Passages

A well-sailed monohull will often make better time to windward than a catamaran, covering more ground in a week.

Classic Experience

There is something irreplaceable about a heel underway, spray on the bow and sails filling in a morning breeze.

📐

Best for 2–6

For couples, groups of four, or up to six friends, a sailing yacht provides the perfect amount of space.
